11th Day CNY - Fatty Crab (Taman Megah) - with Special Guest Appearance

I always have difficulties to pronounce Crab in cantonese...
Hai or Haii? everytime i sure kena pronounciation lesson from my friends.
Normally i just say crab or ketam.... rather than embarrassed myself....
Simple ..

Yesterday my colleagues invite me to eat @ Fatty Crab restaurant.......
They loves CRAB and use to go there at least 1x/wk... and I been the VIP since then ...



           Dang ... so many ppl and they prepare the chairs for the waiting customer..
                                         Qwailo also has wait - no special treatment.. LOL

                                  Working hours is just 6 hours .. n they are printing MONEY...
                                

Well their famours dish is the sour and spicy crab...
Their sauce is difference from the normal sweet n sour......
It is hard for me to describe in words ... but one thing . it is SPICY ( i c some small chili padi.........)
I am not a very spicy eater .. n the first time i tried.... i was sweating hot ... ..
But now already few times being there .. n it is OK for me....

                                              Big crabs- I think those are Sri Lanka crab...
                                 meaty but not so sweet compare to those local small crabs...

                                                                   Big crawlsssssss

                            If you order this dish .. ask for a extra bowl of their sweet n sour sauce ...
                                               DIP it with toast bread is ........... so good

                                                         Steam Crab ... Fresh n Nice...

                             Garlic Spicy Prawn.....  I loves their prawns .. always so big n fresh
                                                     It is not so spicy .. moderate only...

                                      Steam Prawns .. Very nice .. can taste the xio hing chow ..
                                                           Fresh n BIGGGGGGG

Yah i almost forget.. there are only 2 types of CRAB -
1) Sour Spicy (suen lat)
2) Steam Crab

It same goes to Prawn
1) Spicy Garlic Prawn
2) Steam Prawm

No salty egg, kam heoung, butter, or whatever....

Of course another good food is their....... Fried Chicken....
                                                         5 spice fried chicken......

                                                    D man behind the fried chicken......

                                    Satay - They don't put those fat n chicken skin .. nicely burn..          
                                                                     Good ....

                                                Good food must come with good beer....

                                                    Their price list ..price is reasonable...
                                Mon close ...... Besides that there are multi races eat in this restaurant... 
                                      (coz no pork serve) - looks like 1 Malaysia restaurant...

                    Payment term - CASH ONLY ....... so bring more cash to enjoy good seafood.
                                                        Buku 555 cannot be use.....                    

Well here comes the ...............SPECIAL GUEST APPEARANCE..................
YUNA is a malaysian singer-songwriter .. very talented .. young artist..
She is good with her acoustic guitar and winning folk pop tunes
I heard it over the radio and it was good...

Qushairi Mohammed Razali (or rather known as Qi)
Or some of you known him as blogger boy LOL.... n he is one of the presenter for Jalan Jalan Cari Makan........

I do follow on local M'sia entertainment news ... well we are al 1 Malaysian right....


At first Yuna was shy to let me take her picture (coz all the crab juice is all over her hand)..
but later .. she say OK...
QI is very nice man ... sportive .....

P/S ---- i saw some news..... saying that both of them Hangat Bercinta ... betul ke? LOL
Anyway a nice lovely couple......

    I agree. Good food must go with beer! I love steamed prawns with extra rice wine. Shiok. :)

      too much beer is not good ..
      now my beer belly is getting bigger now ...
      Nowadays prefer red wine than beer ..

    Everything is yummy. Fatty crabs, big prawns, satay, fried chicken. Sungguh sedap.

    BIG crabs's meat is not so sweet .. local small crab is always sweet n the shell is softer n u can use your teeth to crash it..
    last time my dad brought me to kuala sepetang seafood..
    d seafood is really nice n cheap...
    U been there b4?

    I lived nearby! Hahah.. but I dont really like seafood - crabs or prawns so I seldom/never bother to come here. Also, it's so crowded!

      ooo it means that we are neighbour...
      that place is always crowded... but being d VIP.. i got some special treatment...
      Last time i have sceptical thing abt this place...
      to me it is more to commercial food rather than good food..
      I tried few times ... n getting OK with it...
      sometime i do find their crab is not fresh (d meat is soft)....

    I loved to try fatty crab & prawns unfortunately I cannot eat those sea food after I kena very bad skin allergic 2 years back. From that moment I stopped eating prawn & crab :-(

      maybe they got some medcine to cure ur allergy..
      i think my cholesterol level is too high now... need to have a medical check up..
