Cendol & Rojak Story.......

Just a short post..
I got a comment from SK asking me why Rojak & Cendol always sell together?
Why not ice kacang or Char Keow Teow or Bak Kut Teh? .. LOL...
Any keng chow people who know the answer..
Please enlighten us ......
I even google it but no answer .. hahahaha

But the way my favourite cendol is from Jonker 88 Dessert @ Jonker Street Melaka

  1. heh, i wish i knew how to explain, but i didn't even realize that rojak and cendol are often seen together! i've never even eaten rojak followed by cendol before :D

  4. My answer is because rojak ( Pasembur) is quite heaty, all fried stuffs, so eat with cendol is better, it has cooling effect. So the customers won't get sore throat, and will come back again on the next day ma!

  9. Jonker 88 is very weird. Those who loves it will rave about it and then there're those who think that place is over-rated. It's either you love it or hate it situation. no in between one..

    It say tat cendol is originated from Indonesia n rojak also famous in Indonesia.
    So mayb both of them come along together this way....
