Botak is SEXY........

In my last post if you read properly I mentioned about BOTAK...
and I nearly become a BOTAK....
Last 3 years ago,  I had a serious hair problem.....
I started to bald in the middle of my head......
the bald spot started to grow...
At first I don't really bother so much about it.....
Then my wife jokes with me if I become bald then ppl will nickname you 光头佬 (Mr. Botak/ Mr Baldie)
then after a while she was so serious n concern about my problems.....
She doesn't care that if I become bald n I will look ugly.....
Well ...... later she told me that if ppl call you 光头佬 (Mr. Baldie), then ppl will start to call me
光头嫂 (Mrs Baldie).... LOL... (hmmm that her main concern afraid ppl call her 光头嫂 -Mrs Baldie)

In order to avoid the nickname she advise me to solve my hair problem....
Some friends advise me to visit Yun Nam Hair Care and seek for professional help....
Few friends say that Yun Nam Hair is a money sucker and could not produce result .....
So I went to a pharmacy and talk with the pharmacist....
At first I am a bit paiseh..
I told them that I got hair problem and ask them for any lotion or tonic to grow back my hair....
They suggested Rogaine/Regrow (which has the content of minoxidil - which help to stimulate hair growth)....
Besides that they told me to relax and do not be so stress....
eat a good balance diet meals and drinks lots of water......

Regrow...... ur hair ...

You must gentle massage the bald area after spray on the scalp...

After every application my wife will wash her hand thoroughly..

afraid that some bulu start to grow on her fingers..

LOL......

I suffer this problem for almost half a year and my hair start to grow back.......
I really thanks to my wife for helping me to go through this problem...
The happiest person is my wife .........
Maybe ppl will start to call her 多毛嫂 (Mrs Hairy)... LOL...

When Chili meet Pan Mee...

There are lots of Chili Pan mee shops out there...I love to eat Chili Pan Mee...
So far I had tried 3 famous Chili Pan Mee shops...

1) 1st Shop - Kin Kin Chili Pan Mee @ Publica....
(their HQ is at Jln TAR - waiting time at least an hour)
  

Less customer ... waited for 15 mins only

Their history.....  ermmm I want my chili pan mee...

Doesn't it looks marvelous .. I like the kao kei soup..

but my wife always say that it is MSG soup... later u become botak if you drink..

I love the egg so much ... (perfect)

After mix the egg and the noodles .... yummy le? kakaka ..

2) 2nd shop - Madam Chiam Curry Noodles House.....

Don't ask me why the shop name is Curry Noodle House

But their house specialty is Chili Pan Mee...

This is our first visit and I notice that everyone order the Chili Pan Mee instead of Curry Noodles

no spring onion and dried shallots.. but they have the lime...

The lime actually make the noodles less dry and less sticky..

coz when u mix it with the half cook egg yolk .. it tends to sticky..

so the lime juice actually make it less dry and sticky...

3) 3rd shop - Restoran Super Kitchen (SS2 branch).....

Restoran Super Kitchen.. the main branch is near to Kin Kin Pan Mee..

D chili Pan Mee ...

It has everything... like Kin Kin ..

but I feel that their noodles still not the best as Kin Kin..

They didn't send the soup and the noodles together ..

They serve the soup after 10 mins.

Normally I will put few scoop of soup so that the noodles is not so sticky and dry..

Conclusion -

I still prefer Kin Kin Pan mee....

Anyway this is base on my taste preference....

Wanna go for a date?

It was friday.. and lots of my friends called me up and ask me to join them for Happy Hour..Then after my lunch, I got a call from Fui Fui....

Fui Fui : Hey... I want to date you tonight.. ..
(I was like .. ahmm ahmm .... eee ..... ooo)
Fui Fui : I read your post about the flowers and bear bear... is nice..  so what time you be back home?
Me : OK.. let's go for a date .. I be back around 6.30pm...
Fui Fui : That's great...  c u then.. (kiss kiss) 
Well of course I choose for having dinner with my wife rather than happy hour (ahem.. ahem..)
My wife was craving for japanese ramen ..
We went to 1U... and decided to try the Hokkaido Ramen at Isetan..

The food we ordered:-

Hokkaido Tonkotsu ramen..

I love this soup .. it has a strong aroma of sesame..

it is not so oily compare to Menya...Menya Musashi

I love the egg which is not so dry.. but it still not perfect..

The egg is better compare to Menya Mushahi..

then the Char Siu.. was just nice .. the combination of fat and meat..

but after the meal I saw this...

my wife throw away the fats.... and she doesn't let me to eat it..

Fried Chicken Don..

I like the fried chicken .. and it was really chrispy and nice..

Then plus the sesame & mayonnise..

I enjoyed this...

Okonomiyaki Gyoza..

It is really good..

They put some mayonise, teriyaki sauce & katsuobushi (dried fish flakes)..

We both enjoy the dinner so much.....

Hokkaido ramen is less noisier compare to Menya

If you ask me.. I will choose Hokkaido Ramen.. Why?

1) Less crowded...

2) I prefer their food .. more suitable to my preference taste...

There are small hiccup on that day.. they mixed up some of the orders...

But I guess is the problem on the system.. so other than this .. everything is perfect...

Then we went to walk around the japanese section corner and we got some tidbits..

We love to eat tidbits .. while watching TV..

P/S : I will think twice if I need to post anything "lovely & romantic" on Friday.. :)

Ipoh Tambun Pomelo

I don't really like about Ipoh Tambun Pomelo...
Last time I used to stay with my grandparents when I was younger...
In his house garden was planted a pomelo tree....
It bears fruit all the time... I am not sure whether is sweet or sour....
What I still remembered, I use to pick the pamelo and use is a football and kick around in the garden...
My mum always take the pomelo leaves for prayers...
and normally she will put few leaves in the bath tub for bathing..
it could remove all the bad luck .....

My wife and her family love to eat pomelo..
When my dad was younger he stayed at Tambun, Ipoh...
He got a few friends that run a pamelo farm......
We normally go to their pomelo farm .. and buy directly from the owner.....

some pomelo tress just incase you never see it before..

They will harvest the pamelo and send in this stall...

The size is much bigger and juicier...

My all time favourite Seafood...

There are few restaurant in KL that have "open concept" of seafood in the aquarium...
So that ppl can choose their seafood...
Same goes in Dalian, China.. they have this open concept of seafood........

This is sea crab..

taste is a lot sweeter compare the normal crab meat in KL...

This is the first time I eat this type of crab ....

furthermore it has lots of "Ko"

It is very expensive .. cost abt RM125/pc

My friend told me that it is very cheap if you buy in market..

About RM30/pc (but of course smaller)...

After eat all the dishes .. here come the last part..

the fried rice...... (i love the rice in china.. big and round)..

like our normal chinese restaurant in Malaysia... which serve fried rice/glutinous rice..

NIce & Simple Hotel.....

This is one of the Hotel that I stayed during my business trip to China..
the room is nice and very modern....

I was informed that this Hotel just open this year...

Tong Sui (Dessert) @ PJ Section 17

After a good meal of CCF..
I will definetely go for a bowl of chinese tong sui (dessert).......
This stall is just beside the CCF stall....

My personal best.. red bean + pulut hitam..

They let you to mix and match ..

if you have a very creative mind then you can mix your own tong sui..

They have papaya + suet yee (this is good for female), apple + pear, black sesame, 

peanut, bubur cha cha, red bean, green bean, Barley + fu chuk.. n lots more..

I saw some greedy customers took a lot of bubur cha cha ingredients

and the owner is OK with that... so generous...

No wonder there are always lots of customers....

PLC concept again.....

 

Chee Cheung Fun @ Section 17

BesideChinese Kopitiam.. I also like to makan at those stalls along the roadside....
PJ is always famous of good food .... nope I am not talking about SS2 wai sek kai (streets will lots of food stalls)....

This time I am talking about PJ Sction 17... it is near to the University Malaya (UM)...
It is an old neighbourhood and there are lots of UM/Tar/KDU students stay there.....

There is this particular Chee Cheung Fun stall that I personally like...
I had tried many but this one is really PLC .. (lol .. my concept of PLC again....)
Besides that I heard that it has the best curry laksa... hmmm .. i tried it but it is so so only..
well back to our main topic .. Chee Cheung Fun....
This shop offer 2 type of sauce .. brown sauce and curry sauce (which is the same as they use for their curry noodles)

CCF uncle... he like to praise pretty girl..

I once overheard his conversation with a pretty young lady....

He told the lady not to smile...

then the lady ask him why?

 CCF uncle say that if you smile you will looks very pretty and

 I could have cut my finger when I see you smile .....

So flirty .. hey concentrate on your work.. ur wife beside you.. LOL

by the way I like the CCF that is the "Thin" type..

the other type is the roll type....

This is because the thin type could absorb more sauce...

As for the roll type the sauce won't reach the middle ....

Just some personal preference...
