Sungei Wang ... Ipoh Tauge Chicken

I went back to Ipoh for Ching Ming...
Before going back, my wife alreaddy planned on her to EAT list....
One of the items is the Ipoh Nga Choy Kai..
But she said Lou Wong is a bit commercialize and ask my dad for other options......

We went to this Sungei Wang Restaurant at Ipoh Gdn...
d front...
d back .. or is it the front or .... confuse...

just a small shop ... with a few chickens hangin

Ipoh Nga Choy..... short n fat ..
(my mum use to call it IVY .. ngai fee - in hakka)
less sesame oil fragrant.....

hor fun is really smooth.. the chicken soup is very nice....

whole chicken (kinda small size huh ..)
they say that it is the kampung misai chicken.. LOL..
the meat texture is very solid... not like those frozen chicken meat texture...

Saito fish ball ...
texture is a bit soft but not springy
coz i think that they did not put the "pang sah"

well it is very homemade style of ipoh nga choy kai....
U need to wait at least 60 mins for the food ..
Total manpower - 3 workers... (include the boss as well)...
I guess that the customers are mainly from Ipoh ......
