Bak Kut Teh......

When I was young I don't like to eat Bak Kut Teh...
the smell of the herbs n the fat pork .. really turn me off....

But now... it is one my favourite food......

Last Sunday, me and my wife decided to go to Klang for Bak Kut Teh...
As usual we don't really like to go to those really famous Bak Kut Teh....
coz they will be lots of people and by that time when we reached there ..
the "nice" meat could be all finished (coz we usually wake up very late).......
We went to Lai Choon restaurant at Meru....... (my wife always joke with me when we go there)
Coz in Cantonese prounonciation .... it says "Come Balls".. LOL...

also lots of customers...
Klang ppl always bring their own tea ..
me pretend to be Klang ppl..
bak kut teh for 2 person

Fat meat, Sai Kuat n Intestine (my fav)...
Dried Bak Kut Teh - 1 person...
Actually it also call braise pork..

Is nice .. not crowded and no hurry to finish our meal...
can have some chat with my wife and drink some tea with her ...
a perfect Sunday brunch..
opps almost forget... I took 3 bowls of rice (2 big 1 small)... LOL...
I was so full ...... O.O'

Total bill - RM35 for 2 person

Have a wonderful Weekend.......

  6. BKT is my fav too, both the soupy and dried version and plenty of the inner parts. Looks very tempting and sometimes I too prefer a place not too crowded because they service is better and even maybe we don't have to pay so much.
