Dim Sum @ night

I had a terrible sore throat and thought of eating something light.....
We are on our way to 1U.
It was terrible traffic jam when we turn into LDP from SS2 traffic light..
In our to avoid the traffic we turn in to Damansara Jaya ..... and we saw Jin Xuan...
Since my throat is killing me .. my wife suggested to eat Dim Sum...
I never eat Dim Sum at night ... (coz my concept is always Dim Sum = breakfast)
Well let's give it a try....

Jin Xuang .. night view

Less ppl in the night session...
we ordered some paus and dim sums....
Char Siu Pau and Custard Pau..
The paus seems to be very stiming hot...
but after a while you can feel that the flour is a bit har and dry...
it is not like those that are fresh n soft...

2 Dim Sum King - Har Gao n Siew Mai...

Fu Chuk

Prawn Dumpling..

Scallop dumpling.. can't taste the scallop..

Mix seafood dumpling...

The DIM SUM a bit sad case...
the skin is a bit thick and hard..
I guess that the Dim Sum is from the mornig shift..

CCF - with char siu & prawn....
Taste is OK.. and the texture is nice and smooth

Century egg and pork porridge..
This is good .. the century egg and pork is in big slices..
Nice...

RM47.20 .... not a bad deal...

Not a good choice to eat Dim Sum at night...
I guess that most of the food are the left overs from the morning shift....
not freshly make by the chefs.....

So next time if you want to eat fresh dim sum make sure you wake up early.......

  5. The custard pau is one of my fav but seems like the taste was not that great. Looks like a good try out and I am in for dim sum but strange that I prefer dim sum for dinner rather than breakfast.

    2. In kl those those no-class-at-all coffee shop type also quite expensive....
Furthermore those dim sum are not make by the restaurant.. Most of it are from d 3rd makers...
The quality is really poor... U can feel tat the har gao is very elastic
Itt is not because of the freshness but they put the pang sah chemical to make d meat elastic...
Wait for my tax refund... Till then now only can eat bread with KAYA...
