Redang Trip

I went to Redang with my wife last week. The trip was GOOD and Relaxing.


We went there by bus (Sani Express) and we were unfortunate that our bus’s A/C was not working. We had to stop somewhere and wait for the replacement bus .. (Actually last week I had the same problem. I traveled to JB for a business trip and my car A/C was not working also. Damn .. 2 times in 2 weeks .....). We were stranded “Somewhere” Petronas station... Finally at 11.00pm a new bus came and we boarded the bus..... Cold Air at last.... we were happy and went up the upper deck. We got the last row. It was rather noisy.. but I could tolerate for cold air for noisy engine sound.

Then at 4.00am, we reached “Somewhere” for night piss........

Then after that we went back to the bus again .. time to ZZZZZZZzzzzzzzz .......

We reached Kuala Terenganu Bus Station at 5.30am.. It was rather dark and cold.... We just got our bags from the bus and looked for some place to wait for my travel agency for the next local transit to the jeti....... Saw a lot of people having breakfast at one of the stall at the bus station.. Actually there is only 1 stall open...

Then our tour guide came and bought us back to their sales office in KT. We had to wait again for others to come by flight.. So we went around the area to eat some KT local stuff.... We were recommended to get some local small buns....

We took about 30 minutes from the sales office to the Marang Jeti.

We take about 45 minutes to reach Redang ..... The water was so clear and blue... The wheather was sunny and the sky was clear and blue ... Blue Sky and Blue Sea...... Perfect for my holiday getaway..

We stayed at Redang Reef... It was 3days & 2 nights snorkelling package.... Gee .. I had not tried snorkelling before ...... well everything must have a first time.... Got our room and next activity is at 2.30pm .... Lunch is at 12.00pm. So we just checked in our room and checked out the surrounding...


We had our lunch and the food was OK ... Normal chap fan type... And it was eat all you can type.....

During these few days, we had 3 snorkelling trips and all were fantastics.....

Actually our package was only cost RM300/person and the normal rate is RM400/person.. Good deal at Matta fair......

Relaxing Weekend...

So far I had a very relaxing and very satisfying weekend (20~21/Mar).

Did some gardening on Sat morning and the air cond man came over to service my house A/C.
Now it is quiet and cool ...... and previously was so noicy and no cool air coming out from the Air Cond......

Well a good tip to you all .... Hitachi A/C is not good .....
Please get Panasonic... It was worth for money, reliable and silent........

Sunday was fun and tiring....
Me and my wife went for a walk in Taman Tun garden..
It was cool morning and seems like it wanted to rain... but it turn out to be clean and hot day....
My wife suggesting that she would like to cook for lunch and dinner.
So after the walk we went to SS2 market and get some "raw materials"

After got all the stuff we went to a curry mee stall at SS2 market.
We ordered a big curry meehon and 1 cup of coffee ....
The curry noodles is OK (i still prefer the curry noodles at Tmn Paramount) and the coffee sucks ..
Not enough of "SUSU" and need to ask the Indon girl to squeeze more ... hahahaha

My wife make 3 dishes - Potato Chicken, Bacon Choy Sum & Lotus Soup....
2 tumbs up ... muaksssss .....

MATTA Fair

I went to MATTA Fair last week and it was damn packed with ppl....
Beside that we there are also others exhibition as well ....
Maybe want to take advantage on this matter..
It also has a small digital fair and Malay wedding fair....

Well got myself a holiday trip to Krabi and Redang trip with my wife..
Yippeee .......

Come to think of that it is our local Malaysia holiday is much expensive than overseas trip

Post CNY

So fast and CNY had already passed for a month...... I had a very good experience in this CNY.
My wife spend the 2nd CNY in Ipoh.
The best part is I had gained 5kg weight...

Many relatives came back from overseas and had a great time with them.

I was pretty amaze with the GAB's electronic countdown signboard along the Federal Highway...
I tried to catch a picture of it but my phone is too "Char" or I drove too fast while taking the picture...
Anyway... what is the point?
To tell everyone that after this year GAB shall be "number 1" due to the TIGER year ?
I was wonder what they will put after the countdown ?
Perhaps countdown to World Cup .. Ole Ole Ole Ole ..... Hahahahahaha....

By the way the official beer for World Cup 2010 is Budweiser.. so how Tiger can roar in this Tiger Year???//

Doggie Pau...

Nowadays a lot of ppl know how to create cute stuff to attract young girls.....

Yesterday my freind gave me a Doggie Pau.. inside with chocolate fillings..
Taste good and the price also good..
It is about RM6 for 7 pcs .. Good business huh....

It is good for Valentine present as well... hahaha.....
Maybe you get the pau throw back at you if you give it as Valentive Present.......
But this year is CNY first day + Valentine day....
So maybe it is good to give mushroom, abalone & lap cheong decorated in flower basket...
Everyone happy .. father, mother & daughter also happy.......

Hair Cutt

CNY is just few days away and I still have not my hair cut....
Thought of going to my normal hair saloon but it seems that all the slot is fully book...
It is like wait and see...
If there is a free slot ... It will not be very good as they are rushing and can't give me a good hair cut...
Then a wild idea came into my mind..
Y not go to those Indian barber... hahahaha .. seriously I am not kidding.
PLC .. Peng Leng Cheng..... but the maybe some doubt about Leng & Cheng......

I wake up today and I had decided to give it a try "Indian Barber"
I decided to go to one of the Indian Barber at Seapark
The shop was fully occupied with ah Pek & kids....
Hahahahahaha... am I serious to get a hair cut from Indian barber..
Aiye .. shouldn't think so much .. just do it le...

I waited for few minutes and it was my turn.....
It was an old man and he asked me .. Apa Macam? Pendek?
I just nood my head and didnt say anything.....
15 mins it was done....
He gave me a head twist and some massage..... and also some Indian cooling oil on my neck...
I pay him RM10 for all these services...

About the Leng & Cheng.. It OK le...
With RM10 and you got hair cut, massage, nexk twist, cooling oil .. what else do you expect???

It was like Deja Vu as I used to go to Indian Barber Shop when I was a kid....

It save me RM50 and valuable time .... Guess that I could buy another kg for Dried Meat for my family..

Chor Tai Ti ....

That day my wife was asking me about playing cards....
Asking me to get ready for CNY ...
So I went to the store room searching high n low for the playing cards..........
Finally found 1 and bring it to my wife...
So she started to ask me to CHOR TAI TI with her....
hmmm okie .. so I played a few rounds with her.....
Then I found some problem ... it seems that there is a card missing....
So I ask her to check what cards are missing..
She told me it is 3rd DI.. Okie so i ask her to take a pen and write on the JOKER...
Then later .. I found that I got twos 3rd DI....
Hahahahahahaha ......

This time I checked it and found the missing card.....

Her skill is getting better now ... she even got a royal flush.....
Wonder she got curi curi beli the "Huat" panties and use it while playing with me .....
HAHAHAHAHA .......

Sticky ... I LOVE YOU

We were at 1 U the other day for some groceries shopping.
After we were done we just go straight to the car park and passed by "STICKY".
Actually we always pass by Sticky when we in 1U......
But this time there is a guy at the counter and start givin some samples to the passer by......
I never taste the candy before nor know how it looks like.....
Me and my wife approach the "Bangla" (not sure whether he is bangla or not)....
He gave us 1 candy each ....
It has some sweet wordings in the candy .......  "I LOVE YOU"
another good gimmick for making money ...
Luring those GF to ask the BF to buy the "I LOVE YOU" candy.....
Luckily my wife doesn't like sweet ... hahahahahaha ...
If they come out bitterguard with I Love You wordings ..
I am sure there will be a lot of bitterguard in my house
Basically it is good and has many flavous in the candy.........
If you have not try it & very KEDEKUT.....
.. do go to STICKY when they are start closing shop...
You might get as lucky as I am......

HOT HOT Day....

The wheather is been very hot these days.....
Everytime I go out for lunch or go our to meet my clients... my whole shirt is always has those patches of my sweat.....
Which mean that CNY is coming near.... Another one week........

Few weeks ago me and wife decided to paint our house...
Due to our house is "Sai Cheh" the morning sun is at our back our house...
So we wake up as early 7.00am to paint the house....
We were so excited and so enthusiatic.....
But after 2 hours of paint, my wife complaint that she was very tired and body start to ache.....
Hey sudah tua le .. kekekekekeke..
We finally finished painting the house at 1pm when the sun was shinning towards the main entrance of the door....
(ahem.. it was not the whole house .. just some front areas that the paint was faded)

Next time I might consider of hire an Indonesian to do the job

Tip Of The Day : Please buy a painting pan. Do not use ice cream BOX.....

World Cup Trophy

I was happened to be at MidValley on the 29/Feb.
It was Friday morning and there are a lot of people shopping, wonder around & etc at Mid Valley...
(I really wonder whether these people need to work or not)


I came across with one ad that saying World Cup Trophy was at the exhibition hall for a 1 day public exhibition.
I am so thrill and went to the exhibition hall.
(sigh .. it was full of people and I need to have a ticket in order to watch the WORLD CUP ....
  ..... $&*#($*#&* ........)
I went down and bought some coke and then went up to the exhibition hall again....
The crowd was worst and I finally give up to have a glimpse on the WORLD CUP...

I need to rush Klang for an apointment.......

HEY I got work mah .....

So I just imagin that it is the REAL thing...

See there are so many ppl.......

Woo Hoo Tiger movie

Lately I had received many good reviews on the new local movie Woo Hoo (production with Astro & MY FM)...
One my of friend said that he laugh from the start of the movie till the end of the movie....
Must be damn good...
Too bad I was too busy and shall go to watch it this weekend

Malay Food

Nowadays I been travelling quite often to Melaka and I had been eating Malay food....
I am very proud to say that now I am very good on Malay food menu.

I would like to share some of my experience eating in Malay restaurant....

Makcik : Adik apa you mahu makan?
Me : Ermm ada apa ?
Makcik : Ada macam macam... nasi goreng ada, KungFu Kui Tiao ada, mee hailam ada, nasi ayam, nasi ayam prabik .. dan macam macam lo....
You nak makan apa dik? Cuba lah Kung Fu Kui Teow
Me : Erm .... Best ke? Ok le .. I cuba le .. (without know what it is) But i guess that it is Hor Fun ...

Then after 30 mins waiting .. the makcik came with the the KUNG FU Kui Teow ....
Me : Oooooo ... ini ialah .. KONG FU keow teow.. hahaha (cantonese style)...
(Then in my mind is about Hokkien Noddles? hahahaha .. and wonder what it should call in Malay....)

Cantonese Style call : Kung Fu Kui Teow
Hokkien Style : Should it call F**King ME?

My next visit .. when I order the Kung Fu Kui Teow ..
I just say Jackie Chan Noodles with doing some kungfu style punching....
Hahahahaha ... I don't know what action to do when I order Hokkien Mee.......

CNY spirit - New Clothes

Chinese New Year is coming .... Have you all got all the new clothes for this coming TIGER year?
As chinese customs , we need to wear new clothes on the 1st day of CNY

CNY : Back to IPOH by Train

YEAHHHHH .. I just got my train ticket back to IPOH for this coming CNY....
It is a another new experience..
All the time I used to drive back and always stuck at the highway......
I remember there was once that I travel back around 3am in the morning .. Kiasu huh...
But still jam .... sigh .. this year I hope everything will goes well.

So this time I will just sit back, relax & enjoy a good movie (from my notebook) .....
or maybe get a Mc Value meals and enjoy some snacks during the journey..
Should be very exciting and fun ....
Besides that iI think my wife is more excited.. this is her first experience that she is taking a local train.....
Hopes everything goes well and no DELAY........

It cost me RM68 for 2 persons with return ticket.
Actually for economy class is only RM12/person.
However the ticket for economy class from KL to Ipoh already finished and I had to get the first class ticket.
It cost RM22/person

Benefit :
Save up RM42
No hassle and no need to stuck in the traffic Jam
New experience for my wife....

Negative:
Cannot bring much luggage
Have to use dad car while in IPOH
Longer lead time about 3 hours instead of 2 hours by car... (but anyway if stuck in the traffic the lead time by car will be 4 hours) so it should be advantage......
Need to follow the departure time.
Might delay

Lion dance .... CNY mood

Last Sunday I passed by Chinatown (PJ Street) and the atmosphere there is very CNY feel.....
Loong Kee & Kiew Brothers are having Lion & Dragon dance...
I love to watch lion dance .. hahahaha

I just double park my car along the PJ street and snapped a few pictures....
Saw a gigantic Lion head ...
A lot of "Loh Ngoi" (Gwailo) were very excited to see the lion dance
There we cheering and clapping..

Besides that shops are start to sell "Kat Chai" Tree...
Last year I bought 2 "Kat Chai" trees .. now putting more fertilizer on the plants.
Hopefully it could bear more fruits.....

Yeah .. Chinese New Year is coming .......

Bus Services - Expensive & Unreliable

There is so many cases nowadays that the bus driver drive so recklessly and cause a lot of innocent life.
Yesterday I sent my mum to pudu raya bus station and she took a bus back to Ipoh....
Well I see that there are many changes here and there.....
Of course the biggest changes is the bus fare .....
I remember that bus fare is about RM11.30 and now it had shoot up to RM17.40....
Wow .. it really a big jump....
Besides that there are some bus operators do not provide any cost reduction to senior citizen....

Due to those deadly accident, my parents are shifting it to train services ....
Well of course the lead time is about 3 hours compare to bus service which is only 2 hours.
As our good tranport minister says that train services will be improve .. and lead time will be improve to 2 hours.....
Let keep it our finger cross .......
I was wonder .. without the double track line .. the lead time can be improve..
Why should the goverment build the double track?

Then it will be Train vs Bus services.....

My Mum Hello Kitty Crocs Shoes !!

Few days ago I brought my mum to SS2 Pasar malam .....
We pass by and saw a few stalls are selling Croc shoes..
My mum was interested and went to the stall to check it out..
She tried out a few pairs and asking me whether is nice or not?
Judging by her expression .. she seems that she wants to buy the shoes....
OK.... she try and ask my opinion...
She says that it was very light and nice to wear.....

Finally she decided that she wants to get a Hello Kitty Croc shoes...
Hahahaha ..... It cost RM20 ..kinda pricy for a pirated Croc shoes.....

For a nomal one it only cost about RM10....
It sure will cause a controversy when my 12 years old niece sees it during CNY....
Well.. I just pay the shoes.....and all I get is a "HAPPY MUM"

Cookies Warehouse Sales !!

I was at Alor Gajah yesterday for customer visit.
After that I brought my customer for lunch and one of them inform us that there is warehouse sales for Julies biscuit & cookies...... It is on every Friday and opens to everyone.
Hmm that is interesting and I know that there is a Julie factory at Alor Gajah.
So we went over there to check it out.

I asked why the Julie is having warehoue sales?
Is it due to the biscuit is going to expired soon, manufacuring default, over stock and so on?
I was so eager to find out the answer .........

When we arrive there, we say some poster saying .. Promosi Hebat.....
The cookies are cheap.. Average is about RM1~RM3 for those small boxes....
There is a lot of ppl buying the cookies and biscuits ...
Some even use carton box to put in the biscuit n cookies......
So u can imagine the qty that there are buying...

The first thing that I look at the cookies is the expired date..
July 2011...
Packaging ? OK .. brand new .. no manufacturing default...
Then I saw some staff is going inside the warehouse and get few new carton boxes to replenish the finishing stock.

Hmmm then other ideas come in my mind....
I am thinking that the maker is selling the biscuit at the retailer price..
Eg.
The retail price is RM 3 and we hypermarkets are selling RM 4...
The maker is selling the same price to the hypermarkets and to "us"..
So no loss for them..
In fact they have a few benefits:-
1) Payment is CASH term.. so no HUTANG 2 mths delay payment from hypermarkets
2) Save in transportation ... no need to deliver to hypermarkets

Too bad the population in ALor Gajah is not that big..
So not so many ppl come over and buy.
Furthermore .. not many ppl know about this warehouse sales...

I also join the crowd ..and bought 8 boxes ... and it only cost me RM16...
Good deal !!!

Wedding Dinner

Dec & Jan is the month of joy & celebrations..
So far I had attended 4 weddings and some of my friends had attended 8 wedding dinners in these 2 months...
There goes all the money for eating shark fins, baby pork, abalon and those good stuff..

Yesterday I had one wedding dinner at Sunway.
My parents came all over the way from ipoh to attend this wedding and I have no choice to attend together with them....
It was my so called cousin brother....  (the relationship was way toooo complicated).
There is one guy at our table and he tried to figure the connection with him and our family..
At last he managed that .... Good Job Mr. Chin .....


At first I am quite reluctant to attend this dinner.
1) Need to wear a suite n tie (of course you can wear T shirt n jeans but u will be the most astonishing person in the hall
2) It was on WEEKDAY and the place is at Sunway. It will be very traffic jam and the dinner start at 7.30pm...
Of course Malaysia Time ..... dinner shall start at 8.30pm .....
But my dad was very eager to reach there OT (on time). I had rush like hell....

Reach there and saw some of the old familiar faces (Grand aunties) and the rest is :-
Dad : this is 4th aunty, 5th aunties, there goes all the whole family chain..
Me : Hello aunty.. Hello Uncle... Happy New Year....

There are some great moments also...  that I bump into my cousins (same age as I am).
It was good ..... at least can talk something...
What do you expect me to talk with my great aunties???

Oh ya the best part is one of my aunties are Australian.
I don't really recall her but she told me that she saw me when I was like 5 ..
Dang how do I remember her....
But one thing I remember that I had a picture with a "Gwailo" kid on the swing.....
She told me that she remember me and her son use to play with me ...... then it was DeJa Vu thing ....
Gee .. that eplain to me who is the "Gwailo" kid in my old photo album.....
It was interesting and I can solve some of the mystery person in my photo albums .. Hahahaha.....

Then it was all Grammy Award ceremony and it was full of emotion....
I thank God, mummy, daddy and all those ppl who help me .. & blah blah blah blah.......
I nearly doze off but luckily my wine glass was alwizz fill up by the waitress...

The dinner ended at 11.30pm .. and I was exhausted and my face was red .. hahaha
Got shower and slept at 1.00am

Sling Bag....

Nowaday you can see guys like to carry sling bag...
It looks good..
My wife recently got a Calvin Klein Jeans sling bag.... It is nice & trendy...

So on New Year Day.. we went to watch Sherlock Homes and I thought of borrowing her sling bag which match with my white Bonia leather shoes.. wink wink....

She agrees with a condition...... that I need to carry all her stuff in the sling bag (all make up, tissues, water & all stuffssssssssss).

At first it was kewl but later a bit regard due to her stuff is quite heavy.. hahahahaha...
Why do girl carry so many things??
