Guess where I went for Sunday Brunch..... (non halal)

Yawn... Zzzzzzzz.....
I must admit .... my engine already more than 30 years old..
cannot turn on the engine for 24 hours... sigh .. I think I will only watch it during the weekends..
Then the rest of the days just watch the highlights....

I slept until 10am on Sunday and my body was so tired......
My wife said that I am Billy Jean's Gf...  (Lolli Jean) sendiri cari pasal....
My wife was reading some food blog and saw this.......

I am sure you all guess it right .. Yes it it YUT KEE.. with their legendary Siu Yuk..

My wife suggested to have our lunch at Yut Kee..
Last time we always go to KLCC for dating......
This is because I got the LRT monthly pass and I could use it for numerous of time..
When I just started to work I only rely on public transport (LRT & bus) and I do not have the money to buy a car.
Finally after 3 years of working I bought my first car.....
Moreover my GF also travel for free....
It is free ride for your spouse during the weekend if you have the LRT monthly pass..
(kekeke . I have not married yet .. well just to save money.... so she temporarily becomes Mrs Simple Person for the weekend)
So we always go to KLCC .. for movie, dinner, shopping..... (one stop solution)

then she suggest that after the lunch we go to KLCC .. (just to rekindle the memory)

Our jouney to Yut Ket by LRT....

We take the LRT station from Tmn Bahagia to Dang Wangi station..
Then just about 5 mins walk and we reached YK

The Legendary Yut Kee.....

Always crowded with ppl
but my waiting time is just only 10~15 mins ..
The boss's son become the crowd control ..
so he arrange the seats for all the customer..
GOOD ...
These were what we had :-

Butter Cake ... it was very rich with Butter (RM1.10)

YK - Siu Yuk with apple sauce (RM14 for 2 pcs)

Hainanese Chicken Chop (RM8.50)

Roti Babi (RM8.00)

Hey Simple Person .. what do you think about YK?
I would say that it wasn't anything to shout about....
(opps sorry for all those hardcore YK fans out there)..

1) Siu Yuk .. I prefer those that sell at wet market.. I prefer that the cut size to be bigger .
coz it always feel good when i put a big piece of Siu Yuk in my mouth..

2) As for Hainanese Chicken Chop .. I like the one at Cathay Restaurant in Ipoh..
I felt that they boil the fries before they fried it ... (maybe I am wrong)
The price is very cheap ..  cheaper compare to Cathay restaurant...

3) Roti Babi .. My own version of Roti Babi is much better....kakaka...

Well maybe my expectation was too high... Basically we are satisfied

After a very FULL lunch we move on to KLCC..
which we feel so reluctant to go .. coz we were so full and sleepy ..
want to go back home and oink oink ...... but we still go to KLCC ...

I go to KLCC for dating purpose as well :)I used to frequent Chinoz on the park, due to my lousy legs. Why not pamper Mrs Simple to a musical experience at Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra?

  22. Maybe you can try Hainanese Chicken Chop at the heritage Colliseum Restaurant along Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman. The waiters there still wear big buttoned old uniform like Old Lau Foo Tze! LOL

The table cloths are like antique white sheets from WW1.

  23. I've been to here once. I ordered all the above. I guess..its the popular ones kua. The siew yuk nice but expensive for 2 thin slice! I hardly try Hainanese Chicken Chop. So, I think this one is not bad. U knw any nice ones around Subang or Puchong area ma?
