Tong Sui (Dessert) @ PJ Section 17

After a good meal of CCF..
I will definetely go for a bowl of chinese tong sui (dessert).......
This stall is just beside the CCF stall....
Tong Sui stall....

Self service .......

At least more than 10 types of toong sui (dessert)...

My personal best.. red bean + pulut hitam..
They let you to mix and match ..
if you have a very creative mind then you can mix your own tong sui..
They have papaya + suet yee (this is good for female), apple + pear, black sesame,
peanut, bubur cha cha, red bean, green bean, Barley + fu chuk.. n lots more..
I saw some greedy customers took a lot of bubur cha cha ingredients
and the owner is OK with that... so generous...
No wonder there are always lots of customers....
PLC concept again.....

  4. It's hard to get stalls like this that's dedicated to desserts only. Mind telling me which part of Section 17 is this? And what are their opening hours? Thanks.

  16. Now I feel like I know nothing! What is the base of this interesting looking dessert? I understand you can get all different flavours but... what's the key ingredient to a good tong sui?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. for me it is important that ingredient is just right not too watery and it cook properly (beans are not too hard)... and sweetness is depend on the individual
as for me, I prefer SWEET ....

  21. The stall is so accommodating to the mix of the sweet porridge. Seldom have I seen this before at the stalls I buy such dessert. My fav is also the red beans and pulut hitam and looks so good and seems like they are generous in adding the ingredients. the beans and pulut hitam. The stall at my place add plenty of sago into each of the sweet porridge and I find very little beans and pulut hitam inside.
