Everyday easy to live is my Wedding Day..

Everyday easy to live - 1123 (direct translation from chinese)
1123 (Nov 23rd) marked my wedding anniversary....
My wife was looking forward for this day.. to have a romantic dinner with me..
to cherish on this special day.....

I was kinda busy at work and manage to leave office at 6.00pm.....
My wife called me up and asked me what time I will arrive home..
so it is 6.30pm with no traffic and 6.45pm with traffic....

Both the federal highway & LDP were heavy traffic..
Was worried that my wife will be upset .. coz a hungry woman is always an angry woman...
I reached home at 7.00pm .. she must be starving....
but to my surprise she was rather cool....
Took a quick bathe ... still undecided where to eat.....
she suggested Italannies at Paradigm mall ..
but again I afraid that the traffic was bad .. and it will be 8.00pm when we reached there....

I suggested Lobsterman at SS2... which is near to my house ...

She hesitate to go and I guess that the price could be very expensive..
Actually I heard about this restaurant for quite sometime .. but never try it...
She still hesitate to eat there.. and I told her that I had make up the mind and we shall stick to it...

Well I think the price is reasonable......
They offer set dinner which cost RM128 for 2 person..
I think it is a good deal for a good lobster romantic dinner..... lol

I wasn't aware on this set dinner..

It is 700g.. they say that it is the ideal weight..

Pumpkin soup.. 

very rich in Pumpkin taste.. very nice..

RM36 of 1/2 dozen..

2 type - one is raw and they other cook with baked spinach.. 

I feel that the oyster is kinda small... 

not very juicy and big.. 

I like the baked with spinach .. very nice..

We ordered the chinese style..

Yee mee with lobster.. 

perfect.. My wife love it..

There are lots of cooking style as well... 

you can choose between western or chinese style..

Next time I will try the set dinner.....

Sidekick

Sidekick ..... 
yes... someone that help and assist you to fight the enemy and save the world...

Batman has Robin .. Sherlock homes got Doctor Watson ..and so on...

I read a blog about Sidekick and it was kinda funny.. 

and it make me think about sidekick...

well a sidekick is equally important than superhero..

Superhero always save the world .. but when he got into trouble who will rescue him ?

of course his/her side kicks.......

If you look around .. you can see sidekicks everywhere....
Assisting their "hero"
every successful "hero" must has a sidekick by their side...

A reliable sidekick must always assist you, support you and trust you.... 

It is not so simple to find a good sidekicks... 

I feel that a total stranger can't be your sidekick...

even though how hard you train the person....  it will never work... (or maybe I am wrong)

I had tried it and I failed miserably.....
There are too many hypocrite and a mask sidekick too..

well luck is always with me...  fake sidekick eventually will leave you... 

and true sidekick will come by ......... Here I come to save the world...

In order to be success you must have a your true sidekick...
will always support you and be together with you when there is a problem...

So are you a sidekick or a super hero?

Christmas Tree

Yay.. Christmas is coming..

A lot of places have put on Christmas decoration and start playing Christmas songs.....

It is so Christmas feel...

These few days my factory also busy preparing our "Christmas Tree"...

There are few big customers/auditors will be coming over to audit my factory.

So every department is busy putting up their own Christmas trees.. to let the people view on it.

Well I am sure you are getting what I am saying about the Christmas Trees. lol..

All people are busy updating their documents, operating procedure and so on... 

I guess everyone is gearing up and is so busy preparing on this special "Christmas day".. kakakaka.. 

including yours truly... 

Well anyway.. I am sure this is the same trend for all the companies...

Christmas Tree syndrome .. can't get away from it... 

After few weeks... we can put down the decorations.. :p

Braise Pork "卤猪肉“ (Teochew Style)

Some of the readers ask for the recipe of the Teochew Braise Pork (sweet type).

I ask my wife whether she could help me to type out the recipe...

It is your lucky day .. and she was in good mood.

My wife still a beginner

Recipe:
- One strip of "fah yuk" – about RM8 (sorry don't know how many grams .. kakakaka)
- 2 cinnamon stick “guai pei”,
- 4 cloves of star anise “bat kok”,
- 2 whole garlic (with skin)
- 2 tablespoon of soya sauce,
- black soya sauce - to your liking (I use about 1.5 teaspoon)
- Rock sugar – 2 small pieces
- 2 bowl of water
- 3 Hardboiled Egg ( optional, quantity up to your own liking) - SP love to eat EGGS.. 
- Hard tofu, cubed into 4 big pieces ( optional, quantity up to your own liking),  

Boil the pork in another pot to get rid of the fat and muddy things.
Heat up the clay pot with a bit of oil and then throw in the garlic to fry for a while then add in the cinnamon stic and star anice.
Add in 2 bowl of water (if you want more sauce you can put 3 bowl if your claypot is big enough), soya sauce, black soya sauce and bring it to boil.
Once the sauce is boiled, put the pork in.
Wait for it to boil again then switch to low heat (small fire) and simmer with lid close
About 20-30 minutes later, put in the rock sugar and hard boil egg and hard tofu. And then let it boil till the sauce become thick without the cover, roughly will take about 30-40 minutes.

When it’s done, take out the meat and cut into smaller bite size.

Note：
Don't throw away the leftover sauce, bring it to boil and store in the freezer. Next round when you want to make braise pork, just add in the sauce on top of the water. (It will taste much better)

Girls Hair Accessories

How was your holidays?
so it is Blue Wednesday huh? maybe some of you still enjoying your holiday..
Yesterday was a good rest day for me .
So far it is OK for me ..at least work one day and rest one day....

Some of my friends came over and visit me...
One of them are doing hair accessories business....
He told my wife that he will send some accessories for my wife ......
She google on those GIFTS..
My wife is so excited and can't wait to receive the GIFTs...

Of course it is not genuine..  but it looks nice and stylish...

School Holiday & Public Holidays....

I see that most of the parents are so happy that it is finally school holiday..
they could get more sleep.... no need to accompany the children to study and so on..
Well could it consider a School holiday to the parents as well...
During this week I expect a real smooth traffic.... means that extra 10 mins for me to snooze.. kakakaka

I am working the whole week except for the public holiday on the Tuesday & Thursday..
It is odd right....Work one day and rest one day....
Actually my company is shut down for the whole week..
but due to a new assignments I have to come back to WORK...

Well look at the positive side.. people say that if you stay at home you will need to spend more money..
it is better to WORK, WORK n WORK..

Working like a DOG

I am not a workaholic but if you have a long break.. you will tend to be lazy & become FAT...
To me when I am lazy .. I will eat & sleep.. kakakaka...

Talk about school holidays .. all the kids and parents are looking forward to it..
The kids now are more fortunate as nowadays parents do bring them for overseas holidays...
Well can't compare it.. flying is easy compare to the old days.. and of course it is cheaper too...

When I am having school holiday my parents will bring me to go KL..
I got a relative staying in KL..
ooooo .. I hate when I travel to KL.. Normally I will take the normal express bus..
that time North South highway was not yet invented..
I was a very tall boy that time.
Imagine a crampy small leg space and I have to be torture for 4 hours from Ipoh to KL...
It will be worst when the person in front of me lower down the seats..
DAMN ........

I still remember that I enjoy the most when I am in KL is to go shopping....
The best thing that KL have and Ipoh don't have is :-

That time TV3 was started at Klang Valley only...

That time I was very envy at KL people that they have the TV3 channel and they have all the good shows..
Well now I had been living in KL for almost 14 years... and everyone has ASTRO..
except me.. kakakakakaka...

3 Men and A Lady...

Yesterday my colleague wanted to CRABS...
so we went to Fei Loh Hai (Fatty Crab) at Taman Megah...

The combination was rather odd (3 men and 1 lady)
2 men - twenties and 1 men & A lady - thirties..

It is not about this movie.. read on..

Of course we eat lots of CRABS & PRAWNS... as usual..
after the meal we just stay for awhile and chat....not those working matters but just normal stupid topics..

The main topic is about FEMALE...
all of use just keep on looking at the female customers over there..
by the way.. just my observation.. there are lots of beautiful girls eating at Fatty Crab..
those comments are like .. the girls looks beautiful but a bit fat, nice body but the face is just average and so on..
My female colleague also comments and discuss the same things as well....

Then we came to a good topic... Single Female & Male...
This female colleague told us that..
once a girl get into thirties.. it will be hard for them to get a married...
We (men) just look at her and ask her why..

She explained..
Man in 20s will look for girl in 20s
Man in 30s look for girl in 20s
Man in 40s also look for girl in 20s...
so there are really less demand for Female that are in 30s and above....

She told us that now it is difference compare to the olden days..
last time a guy will cheat a girl to go to bed with him and then he could get her to married her..
but now it is difference and it is the the other way around.... lol

She got 3 sons and she told us that now there are more female ratio compare to male...
When her sons grow up she will advise them to wear 2 pants when they want to go out..
this is to prevent them to be rape by the over ratio of female population..

All of us burst in laughter...

Well this post is not to say bad about female but just some stupid nonsense that we (colleagues) to talk after a stressful day at work...
Nothing against female..  :)

SKYFALL - James Bond 007

It was a beautiful Saturday morning.. 

I went for a good jog at Taman Tun... 

The air was rather cool coz of heavy rain on Friday night... 

Then my MIL called up and ask us for brunch at Sin Kee Restaurant.. 

Of course I definitely agree... YES... 

I want to eat the Hainanese Chicken chop.. kakaka... 

After that I travel back to PJ and notice that my car temperature rise up.. 

Pull over and check out .. damn the car radiator is leaking..

Went to the service center and they say that it takes half day to fix the problem..

aiye .... Just told the service guy that I will drop my car on Monday.. 

so this weekend have to depend on my wife's car..

Came back home in late afternoon and my wife was planning to cook Teochew Braise Pork.. 

I always eat it at my MIL and this is the first time she try out this dish.. 

It was PERFECT.. love it so much and I go for 2 bowls of rice...

After the dinner we head to 1U for the movie that I was waiting for.. SKYFALL - James Bond.. 

I was a big fan of James Bond movie since I was a kid... 

Love the GQ man style, beautiful cars, sophisticated gadjets and of course those Pretty Girl... 

Well I was kinda disappointed on the movie....

not many nice cars were featured, no sophisticated gadjets,, sex scenes was censored... 

To add to my disappointment .. my friend send me this picture during the show... 

Kanasai... who the hell is this pervert....

The movie was rather slow....story line is OK...  

It is OK to watch if you are a big fan of James Bond....
