they could get more sleep.... no need to accompany the children to study and so on..
Well could it consider a School holiday to the parents as well...
During this week I expect a real smooth traffic.... means that extra 10 mins for me to snooze.. kakakaka
I am working the whole week except for the public holiday on the Tuesday & Thursday..
It is odd right....Work one day and rest one day....
Actually my company is shut down for the whole week..
but due to a new assignments I have to come back to WORK...
Well look at the positive side.. people say that if you stay at home you will need to spend more money..
it is better to WORK, WORK n WORK..
Working like a DOG
I am not a workaholic but if you have a long break.. you will tend to be lazy & become FAT...
To me when I am lazy .. I will eat & sleep.. kakakaka...
Talk about school holidays .. all the kids and parents are looking forward to it..
The kids now are more fortunate as nowadays parents do bring them for overseas holidays...
Well can't compare it.. flying is easy compare to the old days.. and of course it is cheaper too...
When I am having school holiday my parents will bring me to go KL..
I got a relative staying in KL..
ooooo .. I hate when I travel to KL.. Normally I will take the normal express bus..
that time North South highway was not yet invented..
I was a very tall boy that time.
Imagine a crampy small leg space and I have to be torture for 4 hours from Ipoh to KL...
It will be worst when the person in front of me lower down the seats..
DAMN ........
I still remember that I enjoy the most when I am in KL is to go shopping....
The best thing that KL have and Ipoh don't have is :-
That time TV3 was started at Klang Valley only...
That time I was very envy at KL people that they have the TV3 channel and they have all the good shows..
Well now I had been living in KL for almost 14 years... and everyone has ASTRO..
except me.. kakakakakaka...
Happy Holidays people......
heh, traffic is still bad in the city today, partly cos the rain has started again :D
ReplyDeleteoooh, you and i can form a club. we both don't have astro (i just watch DVDs) :D
Work...work...work...equals money...money...money!!! I have ASTRO but I pay and I do not watch. My missus hogs the TV day and night watching her Chinese,Japanese, Korean dramas... Sobsssss!!!!!

DeleteBesides the two Public holidays, I am working as usual. I don't travel during the time when everyone are. I prefer the off peak seasons and that way, less people, less jam and better customer service.

ReplyDeleteI remember the old days too when I lived in KL. Going to Penang during holidays would take ages to reach. Those days I loved Komtar!! Blergh!
DeleteThose days Bananaz loves Ampang Park. Without the NS Hiway traveling time from Penang to KL can be easily 6-8 hours.
DeleteYou guys were so lucky and coming from rich family. When I was still a kid, I only got to Maxwell hill and Taiping Lake Garden in school holidays. Probaby I got to go Kuala Kangsar or Sepatang only. I went to KL only when I finished my form 6. I went to KL and studied in UM.

ReplyDeleteI don't watch much TV but yeah Astro is good! Forget about TV3.
ReplyDeleteHolidays are bad for me because I will have lesser students to teach so less income, sob sob. Ya, work work work is good because it means money money money.
ReplyDeleteThis year rather stress because I have to prepare my girl to enter Std 1 next yr. Not really a holidays thought cos she still have extra classed to attend. *sobs sobs**

ReplyDeleteYalo...kids these days, school holidays parents will think or plan where to bring them go cuti cuti.
I love the traffic outside my home during the school holidays but I hate the traffic at the malls!
