My dad has no moustache...

This is happen to me at a groceries stall....

Simple Person : Erm ..  I think you gave me a wrong change...
you suppose to give me back 50cents .. and not 20cents...
Cashier            : Hello "MR." please look carefully .. I give you 50cents...
Simple Person : opps .. sorry.. I didn't look at it...(so paiseh)
Cashier            : Please see properly not all ppl got misai (moustache) is your father..
Simple Person : I am so paiseh (embarrassed). Everyone is looking at me...
(wanted to tell him .. my dad got no moustache
so should I tell him that no moustache should be my mum?
well I just walk off from the store after apologise......)
I am very confuse after the new coins come in to use..
I had been using the same "size" of coins for more than 30 years...
and it is so difficult for me to adapt to the new sizes of coins....

Or is it first time you see such a new coin?
Then again something funny happened yesterday ...
I got some change after paying the lunch with my wife ..
one of it is the new 50cents coins....
Then I told my wife .. damn .. the new coin so poor quality and all the edges were damage..
new coin and worn out so fast.....

My wife :          Hello MR... have you really look into the new 50 cents coins ?
It is the design la ... not damage.
Malaysia produce good quality of products
Simple Person : ooo izzit ?
then I told her the joke abt the moustache ..
My wife :          Don't worry I will look properly ... so not all ppl without moustache is my husband..
(she laugh and laugh and laugh ....)

There is a dent curve design along the perimeter...

  22. I agree with you, it is very confusing. Somehow governments around the world are making changes to their coin. For your reading pleasure - http://www.bondvigilantes.com/2012/06/26/lonesome-george-osborne-should-get-rid-of-one-and-two-penny-coins/

  24. Actually I'm not used to the new coin oso. Always pay money oso I need to check b4 paying. And I don't understand why the heck they need to come up with this new coin when most of the machines couldn't detect or accept this new coin!!
