HOT NEWS in my house...

Previously I had blog that I had subrice the eSTAR..
This package comes with the E newspaper + the Physcial Newspaper.
it started yesterday 1/June and the physical newspaper was delivered to my house.....

NEWS is deliver....

After trying for almost half a monh, these are my opinions:
Negative-
1) E Newspaper - need to download on every issues..
2) Need to zoom in and zoom out ....
3) Cannot use when the iPad is use by my wife...

Positives:-
1) Easy to flip and bring everywhere ...
2) Can look back on previous news...
3) There is a voice readback.. so you click the mode and you could listen to the news instead of reading it.. I use it when I want to go to sleep.. so I just listen to the news..
just click the button and it will read out the news..

4) Saves some trees

Have a lovely Saturday....

  8. but i wonder how much difference is the eSTAR compare to Star Online?? are the contents the same, just that the eSTAR is exactly having the same layout as the physical paper..

  14. heh, it's good that you still subscribe to newspapers, no matter whether it's print or digital. at least you keep up with what's going on in the world (that's what my grandfather would say) :D

  15. I'm subscribing to the e-star too... no wait, it's my parents. Anyway, my only about it is that it only supports up to 2 devices only.

  16. I still prefer the conventional style of reading, the newspaper because my eyes gets very tired looking at the screen via e-star.

  22. agree with you on the negative points...

  23. I have iPad too but I still prefer to read the real newspaper. I even read them briskly in traffic jams which is a normal thing everyday. I agree that someday we have to go paperless in every possible way but I read online Star every morning just to see the main headlines!

  24. So, The Star is like your bedtime story book lor?

  25. I wrote to the The Star telling them if they offer me just the e version and at the same price as the bundle I will consider... the point of me reading 'e' news is that I want to save some trees, but with both the printed and e version, it defeat the purpose...
