Raisin Scones .... Fui Fui's new bakery item...

My wife tried a new bakery item...
this time she choose scones.. which both of us love to eat very much....

As usual she check on few websites on how to make scones... google here and there...
combine few recipe into her master recipe....

I think she took about 30 mins to make the scones...

patiently waiting for the scones to bake...

cool down the scones....

Add butter and Jam...

mouth watering butter, wild berries raisin scones...

    1. Scone is very simple to make, 30 minutes or less is what you need. And no skill is required :D

My kids would sometimes ask for it.

    2. I wouldn't say that. An ex-student of mind came back from overseas - said he followed my very simple recipes for homecooked meals...and to him, it was not that easy - took him a long time! I guess it is only easy for people who are used to it and have had a lot of practice - it all comes naturally.

    1. should do that like you eat bread, cut into halves and then just spread the jam and butter.. uh uh, that's not right..

      Delete
    2. in fact, should have pinch a small piece (your mouth size) from the scones, and then apply the butter, jam and cream on that small piece before putting it into your mouth..

  23. Home made scones are always lovely especially when they are fresh out of the oven. A dollop of butter and jam with a cup of tea to go seals the deal for me. Its so easy to make too and we get charged big bucks for it. Now I am tempted to make it for brekkie today:D
