I heard so much about it.. some say that it has the best Sang Har noodles...
That day my friend ask me to have dinner with him..
So I suggested Green View...
This is what we ordered...
Of course the Sang Har Noodles..
I see almost all the customers over there order this dish...
Noodles are very crispy and the gravy is very nice..
I feel that the taste of the prawn's meat wasn't so springy enough....
Overall it is very good....
Kam Heong La La
It was very good and the kam heong taste was really perfect..
it has small dried prawns.... the La La is big
Fried Prawn Mantis w/ salted egg
Very crispy and the the batter was very nice..
Very crispy and the the batter was very nice..
The salted egg is just perfect not too much or too little..
Bullfrog with spring onion..
Taste is OK but the bullfrog is a bit small..
Just average for me..
By the way they also serve crab... but we did not order as my quota was over this month....
First!!
ReplyDeleteI got the first sip, yay yay!
Good morning, SP!

DeleteThis SP wants to see us comments to shiok sendiri but he so malas to reply one cos he wanna play his balls!!!! Use one hand play and the other hand can reply lah!!!!
Deletewah so early al TM and Yvonne LOL
DeleteInstead of showing his face, he shows more food here! hmph! xD
Deleteyalah.. always show food to us, slowly this blog is becoming a food blog already.. and Lina will never come before her meals.. :D
Deleteaiyo.. got to stay away of all these food for a while la.. :p
ReplyDeleteLOL! Not a while, but for 3 YEARS!!
DeleteAll the above are my favourite~ especially the kam heong lala! I couldn't get to eat this dish ever since I came back to my hometown.
ReplyDeleteKL kam heong and Taiping kam heong style is different. I like it when they put dried shrimps into the dish. The soft texture of the lala and the firmer of the shrimp, wah~~ my saliva drip on the keyboard already.
The noodle looks wet and moist ~~ Eh, just prawn ka? No oyster one?
DeleteYa I like kam heong lala that they fry with hay bee
DeleteWeii...that noodle already name sang har lor...memang prawn only la
DeleteOpps... I thought SP will order extra, with oyster or see-ham... he very like these 2 seafood le~~
DeleteMoreover, my Cantonese fails one... Sang Har?? Chee Hay - I know la, Hokkien lang.
Deletehehehe, this SP sure likes all these oyster, see-ham, lala one.. whether having them in the restaurant or on the bed~~ :p
Deleteah hua you are like those ppl who cannot say those flower crab in cantonese..
Deletecham le .. I don't know how to speak hokkien.. so how to talk when i see you?
so you and annay tm are kakilang..
I think it is one of the best kam heong lala that I have eaten.. best le
ahhhh, you always make my mouth water, teasing me to have all these goodness too :)
ReplyDeleteWhat is that 'very crispy and the batter was very nice' dish??
ReplyDeleteI should have know this SP's style. Intro halfway, then no intro the other. Just like the previous title-and-food-photo-no-match posts.
hahahahhahahaha......too excitred
Deletemaybe he wants us guess. The winner will get a gift
Deleteso, shall we start guessing! Then force SP to give out gifts for correct guesser. ;p
DeleteYou force until the cows come home, he won't bother one. So lansi nowadays!! He won't even bother to reply comments. KNN..
DeleteLike talking to the wall!!! @#$%^&*!!!! Better we all boycott, don't want to comment liao!!!
Deleteno le .. I am damn busy these few days..
Deletebig boss coming again .. so need to prepare lots of things..
yalor, the salted egg xxx.. left us all guessing what that thing is?? could be prawns??

ReplyDeleteYvonne, I think its the wallet's quota.... hehehe :P
Deletewah if wallet quota ...i dare not go lo. Later i have to go wash plates there after dinner
DeleteSP wallet so fat and full of cash & cards, sure no limit quota one.... right? ;p
DeleteHis wallet is fat and wet with ahem. What quota? Quota Mamak he has!
Deletewahh...this meal is already sufficient for u to exceed ur Cholesterol quota edi le.
ReplyDeleteSo, is the Sang Har Min really worth trying?
Wah the Sang Har noodles looks yummy leh!
ReplyDeleteI love their Sang Har Mee but parking can be a hassle there.
ReplyDeleteyes you are right....
DeleteI think it will be worst during weekend..
Goodness! This restaurant is so old and walking distance to your house!!!!! Baru first visit kah??? What have you been doing inside your bedroom?
ReplyDeleteSP usually eats oyster and see-ham in his bedroom or do HCP in kitchen; no go out venture for other food.
Deletewhy only bedroom?
DeleteI got the hall, balcony, kitchen, bathroom, room 1, room 2 & room 3
that place is expensive le how to go?
gold not yet turn into diamond
When I first went there, the signboard was really "GREEN" colour and got no lanterns. Now upgraded and the prices also escalated.
ReplyDeleteis it? this is the first time I go there..
DeletePrawn not springy = not so fresh lor... Frog? You ate frog? Eyewwwwwww!!!!!! You never mentioned the prices... Must be expensive lah, KL/PJ standard...all the rich people there! LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteIt is bloody expensive la but SP is bloody rich! So no worries!
Deleteooo like that i wont go liao......mahal ah.
DeleteLike that go to the Pan Heong restaurant that Claire intro is better la
Pan Heong? ok put it in my list..
DeletePan Heong near Batu Caves lah, i've been there three times, always so crowded with people!! love their porridge, fried pork, kau yuk beehoon and steam fish..
DeleteTheir Sang Har Mee was the only BEST one in Klang Valley during the 80s. Many people liked to compare them. Since then, hotels and other restaurants started to serve equally good ones after trying theirs!
ReplyDeleteVery crispy and the the batter was very nice..
ReplyDeleteThe salted egg is just perfect not too much or too little.
that one is what? sotong or what?
How much is the bill? mahal or not?
Deleteheard about this restaurant too. Near the Lisa De Inn there right?
DeleteBetul, pussy cat! So you know that hotel inside?????
DeleteOh no!!! That hotel seems to crop up in conversations ever so often. TM and SP are regulars there or what? LOL!!!
DeleteLOL! And meow also know about this hotel - threesome??

ReplyDeletenot so many plants/trees
Deletebut i saw few big giant cactus outside the shop..
Wei, SP! How come you replied here and not the above!!
DeleteI told you he is retarded one and blurr like sotong!!!
DeleteTried them once. Like the Sang Har Mee albeit expensive. Do try out the one along Jalan Sungai Besi / Jalan Tun Razak. The shop's name is Fun Kee. They have pretty good Sang Har Mee at cheaper price and their noodles are self-made.
ReplyDeletethanks for the recommendation..
DeleteI will try it... I seldom eat shm so can't compare much..
I love salted egg with anything!! hehe so rich and decadent! :D
ReplyDeletesyt like you sure no problem le..
Deleteuncle like us need to jaga our cholesterol level..
SP always eating :P .... they look so yummy minus the frog...u can never let me eat frogs :P
ReplyDeletebut it is nice..
DeleteI got a friend also don't like to eat frog .. but once he tried it ..
he loves it..
my mom told me t hat it just taste like chicken... but I dont know... I might try or may not try it.. maybe i can if i didnt know that it is a frog lol
DeleteSP, your friend asked to have dinner with him, and your quota was over, meaning you treated your friend all these food. Wah! You are so generous, and you are so flexible to meet up too.
ReplyDeleteHe memang very generous one. Took me out to eat, insisted on paying for everything. So paiseh...me like parasite only. Hope he will come to Sibu, then my territory, my turn...and I will belanja him everything he wants to eat. (Not like some people - I went to KL - they ran to hide!!! Tsk! Tsk! LOL!!!)
Deletehehehe .. actually my friend treat me at Green View...
Deletenormally I am OK to meet up during the weekday...
Fri, Sat & Sun - fui fui day...
yah le after STP makan .. i have to go on diet to save back the money .. kakakakaka
SP... I read Yan's comment thrice but she didn't mention she wanna meet up with you.
DeleteYou syiok syiok give out your free-day ka?
We all know weekdays you punch card in the office. Weekends punch card in the bedroom.
That sotong is octopus sometimes, lagi blurr one.
DeleteI think SP wakes up from bed then go straight to work, after work, go straight to bed. Otherwise how to keep the Olympic record of ahem ahem ahem 7 times a day.
Deleteooo, i haven't had sang har meen yet this year. i think my favorite is the one at imbi. i tried this greenview one once, and it was nice, but maybe not as creamy as the one in imbi (but that's just personal opinion, heh)
ReplyDeletethanks for the information... I seldom eat sang har mien..
Deleteso can't compare much..
