SP the Hairy Crab Cook...

I was in China for business trip and was very busy with work..
I just came back last Wed and and today is Friday..
Seems like I work 2 days and off for 2 days....

Well nothing much about China trip this time..
The weather is nice and it is the season for Hairy Crab....

One my friends brought me to his friend's restaurant...
Not a very big restaurant...
Restaurant in Wuxi...

Well the best thing about this restaurant is that we could roam freely in the kitchen..
My friend also cook a few dishes for us... everyone was so friendly..

The boss was kind enough to teach me on how to cook Hairy Crab...

SP - the master chef of Hairy Crabs...

Hairy Crab ready to eat....

Other food that we ordered...
Top left - Roast Pork with turnips (BEST)
Top right - Mushroom chicken soup (GOOD)
Bottom left - Steam eel. Eel was so fat & big (BEST)
Bottom right - Steam fish (GOOD)

They seems to know that I love to eat Hairy Crabs ..
and they packed a box for me to bring back to Malaysia (about 10 pcs)...
shit .. how am I going through the custom...

Well the crabs survive and landed safely in Malaysia..
I packed the crabs in a box and check in as luggage..
so when arrive in Malaysia.... I remove the box and put in a duty free chocolates plastic bag..
the custom don't even bother to check .. kekekeke :)

Yesterday my dad came all the way from Ipoh to eat the Hairy crabs .. kakakakaka

SP become the master chef again...
Do you look at the "Kou" .. so yummy..
It only cost RM5/pc...

So no more crabs for me at least 2 months ... :(

  32. Dude, I'd advise you never to post your 'illegal' activities online again.
    If possible, edit this post.
Your blog is so popular dont know who will read it.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Nice! That's a smart way to bring them in. Haha! :)

I didn't know you couldn't just bring crabs in. I thought Malaysia is fairly lax in this regards, unlike places like Australia where they're really paranoid about introducing pests etc that even egg containing products must be disposed.

I once smuggled a cake my ex-gf made in though.

The crabs look nice but the way the eel is prepared looks better. I'll love to go on another trip to China! :D

    Good food. Cheers mate!

  34. the food looks yummy! i'm craving for crabs now! lucky you for bringing them home! :-)
