The Explorer Hotel, Malacca

After getting all the great and delicious from Seremban I headed down south to JB...
My wife got an appointment with her friends at Plaza Inn...
I was getting tired coz of eating too much of food...
The best thing to do after a meal is to SLEEP...
After 30 mins of chating with my wife .. suddenly I heard a snoring .....and it became LouDER and LOUDER.. lol..
I just listen to the "L"ADIO instead...
it was raining quite heavily when we reached the border of Johor..
After 3 hours drive we finally arrive JB...

My wife met her friends and then we off to Malacca..
We reached Malacca at 7.30pm.. and went straight to the hotel....

It wasn't so difficult to locate the hotel as it was just opposite the Mahkota Pahlawan...
As I was informed that the Hotel is very new (just 2 weeks in operation)...
I am very impressed about the Hotel.....

The price list of the room....

The lobby..

Recreation area ...

The room...

My opinions about the Hotel:-
1)  The room is very clean but the floor is slightly dirty (it is a wooden floor not carpet)
They do not provide you a slipper
2) The bathroom is nice and compact with modern design.
Water pressure from the water pump is strong and hot water is available instantly...
3) Staff is friendly and helpful
4) Bed is stable .. no rocking noise.. ahem ahem... pillow is floffy (cause it is new)
Bedsheets and towel is clean (I bring my own towel)
5) TV channel is blur ..only available normal channel
6) There is a children play area....
7) Coffee vending machine is available
8) Walking distance to Jonker St, Mahkota Pahlawan, Hatten Square (Overtime pub is there)
9) Plenty of car parks ..It is located together with some shops lots..
It might be full if all the shops are open for business...
10) Value for money.. (they give you McD RM5 voucher/person for breakfast)..
McD is just across the road
11) The room's sound absorption is not good .. could hear the next room talking..
so you need to keep your noise level low (ahem ahem ahem.....)

You could try out this hotel ....
But what worried me is the maintenance of the Hotel ..
hope that they will maintain it and I shall come back and try next time.....

  19. The hotel is like a Boutique Hotel with nice and petite decors. The counter is also tiny and cute, yeah... For the price it is reasonable. It must be poor maintenance that made their floor dirty and not swept.

Ahem! Ahem! Ahem!.... So could you keep your noise level down?.....

TM, you are a 6-foot giant, Queen bed too small la.
