Banana Republic vs Guys Vision

Nowadays I seldom buy clothes....
Last time I will buy maybe 1 or 2 pcs of working shirt/year...
but now my company is giving out company uniform.. Good and Bad...
Good - No need to spend money for working attire......
Bad - The design and the colour wasn't so interesting..
Last month I went back to Ipoh to celebrate my mum's birthday..
After the dinner we went to the new Ipoh JJ.
Both my parents have not been there yet... so I just brought them there and look around..
I got these......
Banana Republic Polo T.......
It only cost me RM80/2 pcs..
actually I am a L size person but it looks nice if it tight fit so I bought M size instead...

During the last Chinese New Year, I got a few Guy Vision T-shirts and shorts..
It cost abt RM9/pc (with 10% discount)...
I got 4 T-shirts and 4 shorts...
Now I have use it for half a year and the quality is still good ..
the collar of the T shirt still have not wear off yet
and the elasticty of the rubber band on the shorts still good.......

  28. The good about uniform is that no need to spent money buying different shirts. Love the blue color of the t-shirt, worth the price too.

    ReplyDelete
  29. When I look at clothes in Malaysia, I get put off by the price. It's not even nice!
When I think of casual attire, I strongly feel that nothing beats shopping at distros in Bandung, Indonesia. Distros are mini boutiques where local designers sell their designs. It's unique, quality & it's cheap. RM10 for a nice t-shirt/polo.
I wrote a blog post about it & might go back in a few years time.

  30. the plus thingy about uniforms is we save money. but it can get boring as well.

i remember my uniform days and I would spice things up with a scarf (that started me on my collection of scarfs and to date i have about 170 pieces) and shoes. Perhaps for guys, you can start with using shoes to spice up your uniform? Hehehe
